Support Executive - DART
The Support Executive in the DART (Data Analysis and Research Team) will be responsible for uploading, managing, and organizing data within the Lexlegis system. This role requires a keen eye for detail, proficiency with computers, and a strong understanding of legal processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Upload & Management:
- Upload and manage legal documents and data within the Lexlegis system. Ensure all uploads are done with accuracy and completeness, maintaining the integrity of the data for future use.
- Document Organization & Categorization:
Organize and categorize legal documents in accordance with established guidelines. Ensure that all files are stored systematically to facilitate easy retrieval and compliance with data management protocols. - Intelligent Data Handling:
Use analytical thinking and intelligence when handling data uploads. Be proactive in identifying and resolving any discrepancies or issues that arise during data entry or document management. - Support Legal Research:
Assist in ongoing legal research efforts by organizing and classifying documents according to relevant legal fields. Be familiar with laws in order to understand and support research in various legal domains. - Quality Assurance:
Conduct regular audits of uploaded documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of all data in the system. Address any errors promptly and ensure corrections are made as needed. - Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of uploaded documents and manage reports related to the uploading process. Provide regular updates to the team lead or manager on project status and challenges. - Compliance with Legal Standards:
Be mindful of data privacy regulations, confidentiality agreements, and other legal considerations when handling sensitive information. Ensure all documents are uploaded in compliance with legal and organizational standards.
Qualifications:
- Essential: A law degree (LLB) is required, as this will help the candidate understand the legal context of the data and support legal research.
- Desirable: Any additional certifications in data management, legal research, or related fields are a plus.
Experience Requirements:
- Preferred: 1-2 years of experience in legal data management, document handling, or a related field.
- Open to Freshers: Candidates with no prior experience but a strong interest in legal research and data management are encouraged to apply.
Skills Required:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfortable with various data management tools and software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Capable of organizing and categorizing large volumes of legal documents efficiently.
- Basic understanding of legal research, with knowledge of any one area of law (e.g., corporate law, intellectual property, criminal law) being beneficial.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and proactively manage tasks with minimal supervision.
