UI/UX Designer

The UI/UX Designer is responsible for designing seamless, intuitive, and visually appealing user interfaces for web and mobile applications. This role requires a deep understanding of user-centred design principles, creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups, as well as ensuring that the design is functional, accessible, and aligns with business goals. The UI/UX Designer will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

UX Design and Prototyping: Create wireframes, user flows, journey maps, and prototypes to outline and communicate design ideas for both web and mobile platforms.
UI Design: Develop high fidelity mockups and visual designs with attention to detail, color theory, typography, and branding consistency.
Interaction Design: Design intuitive and engaging interactions, animations, and microinteractions that enhance the user experience.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketers, to align design solutions with business goals and technical constraints.
Design Systems: Create and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI libraries to ensure consistency across all products and touchpoints.
Performance Analysis: Analyze usage data and user feedback to refine designs and improve overall user experience

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Design, Interaction Design, Human Computer Interaction, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.

Experience Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in UI/UX design, with a portfolio showcasing a range of successful projects.

Skills Required:

Skills: Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
Expertise: Strong understanding of design principles, including layout, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
Communication: Excellent verbal and visual communication skills, with the ability to present design concepts effectively to stakeholders.

Other Requisites:

Experience working with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with developers.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and working in an agile environment.
Experience designing for accessibility (WCAG standards) and familiarity with responsive design best practices.
Knowledge of motion design and experience with tools like After Effects is a plus.
